Yogesh Chander Modi takes charge as NIA Chief

New Delhi: Yogesh Chander Modi, a senior officer of the Indian Police Service, took over as the director-general of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) today.
Yogesh was the officer in charge of three cases related to the 2002 Godhra riots.
Yogesh was the IPS officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre was special director at the Central Bureau of Investigation before taking over as NIA chief.
