Karnataka High Court Adjourns PIL on Tipu Jayanti Until Nov 7

Bengaluru: Karnataka high court has adjourned public interest litigation (PIL) until November 7 which sought cancellation of circular released by Kannada and Culture Department in connection with Tipu Jayanti celebrations scheduled for November 10.
Kodagu native, KP Manjunath in his PIL urged the court to cancel the circular however high court without releasing any interim order asked to provide detailed explanation how state government can spend tax payer’s money for events including like jayanti.
