Youth from Kolkata Arrested in Bengaluru for Alleged Assault on Air Hostesses

Bengaluru: Police arrested a Kolkata native at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru here on Wednesday following a complaint from two airhostesses. Arrested has been identified as Kshitij Gurung, a M-Tech student who is pursuing his engineering education at an engineering college here in Bengaluru city.

The youth who was in a Bengaluru bound Indigo plane reportedly touched the airhostess in obscene manner and assaulted another airhostess who questioned his act on her colleague. There were heated arguments between the trio and other passengers separated the three who engaged in war of words. The accused is being questioned as part of the investigation into the alleged assault case.
