My son is innocent: Father of student held for murder

Gurugram: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today confirmed that a Class 11 student was arrested with the murder charges of Pradhyuman.

The arrested student’s father told, “My boy is innocent.”  He said that his son had informed the authorities at school that Pradyuman had been killed. “The CBI questioned him four times,” the father said in an interview. “What happened to the child who died is wrong, but that another child should go through injustice which is also unfair.” 

“Ask anyone at the school…did they see any blood on him? I can tell you there was not a single spot of blood on his clothes,” he said.

A bus conductor was arrested in September over the alleged sexual assault and murder of eight year old Pradyuman at the Gurgaon School. The boy was found outside a school toilet, crawling and bleeding profusely before he died.

CBI was asked to probe into the case after the victim’s parents moved to the Supreme Court demanding justice.
