BSY to Take Steps to Solve Mahadayi Issue by December 15

Hubballi: Karnataka State BJP Unit President BS Yeddyurappa (BSY) has assured on Wednesday that he would take measures to solve Kalasa Banduri issues by December 15 after a meeting with national leaders of his party and Goa chief minister, Manohar Parrikar.

Speaking to agitating farmers urging to solve Kalasa Banduri issue, BSY said that he would seek an order from Goa government to implement Mahadayi project and bring 7.5 TMC water to Karnataka. The farmers have been agitating before the residence of leader of opposition at Karnataka State Legislative Assembly, senior BJP leader Jagadish Shettar in Hubballi
