Ex Ranji player Panambur Narasimha Bhandary passes away

Mangaluru: Former Ranji cricketer Panambur Narasimha Bhandary passed away at his residence on Friday.
Bhandary was aged 78 years. He was born in Mangalore was an alumni of St.Aloysius College.
Fondly referred as ‘Bab’ Bhandary in cricketing circles, Narasimha Bhandary played for Karnataka and Bihar Ranji sides during his first-class career from 1959-60 to 1961-62. He played along with legends EAS Prasanna and Brijesh Patel.
Bhandary also played against the visiting England and Pakistan sides. Bhandary was also good at tennis
He is survived by his wife Sheela and son Dilip.
The last rites of Narasimha Bhandary were performed at Boloor Crematorium on Saturday.
