Miscreants pelt stones on buses, lorry at Uppala

Kasargod: A private bus which was on its way to Anekal was stoned at Kadambar kileri near here.

It was reported that, the attack happened on the anniversary of Babri Masjid demolition.

In another incident, a lorry heading towards Mangaluru was stoned  at Uppala.  A KSRTC bus was also targeted at Uppala by a group of miscreants who came on a bike. A mini bus at Kumble  too bore the brunt of miscreants in a similar fashion.

Following these incidents, bus services were been disrupted on Uppala route.

Police have been deployed to bring the situation under control.
