Prostitution racket busted in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: A prostitution racket has been busted by the city crime police here.
The police arrested Manjunath (38), a native of Ballari, Harish (53) from Malpe in Udupi, and Sujata alias Arundhati (30) from an apartment here.
It has been reported that the police raided a flat in Ramakrishna Apartments in Padavu where a woman was running prostitution business.
Among the accused, Sujata was living in an apartment at Padavu. She used to allegedly hire girls for prostitution police said.
The police seized cash and mobile phones from the accused and girls were rescued during the raid.
