Belagere shifted to Parappana Agrahara jail

Bengaluru: City Crime Branch (CCB) police shifted Editor Ravi Belagere to the Parappana Agrahara Bengaluru central jail today.

Belagere was remanded to judicial custody till December 23.

Police said Belagere’s advocate had not filed a bail application before the court, but only presented arguments and requested medical care while in judicial custody in the jail. The government advocate who appeared on behalf of the CCB police has submitted a five page charge sheet opposing the bail plea. 

Belagere is accused of allegedly giving supari to kill Sunil Heggaravalli for having an extra marital affair with his second wife.
