Bengaluru: State Intelligence board has claimed that BJP has played a major role in infusing communal disrupt at Honnvar after the death of Paresh Mesta.

The Intelligence board said that the Honnavar police had registered an First Information Report of murder in the death case of Mesta, even before the detailed report of the post-mortem was available.

Honnavar police have registered a case of murder of Paresh Mesta (18) under IPC section 302, 143, 147, 148 and 201 on the basis of the complaint filed by Kamalakar Mesta, father of the deceased on December 8.

It has been reported that BJP leaders allegedly planned a protest to bring in communal unrest on December 18 at Honnavar condemning the killing of Paresh Mesta.
