Kalasa-Banduri Samithi to stage protest on December 27

Hubballi: Kalasa-Banduri Horata Samiti has called for a bandh at the Mallaprabha dam on December 27.

The protestors demand to settle the Mahadayi water dispute between Karnataka and Goa they requested the CM’s of both the state to resolve the issue.

Addressing the gathering Rajanna Koravi from the Samithi said “It is not right to play politics in issues concerned with drinking water,”

The samithi requested the people of Dharwad, Gadag, Bagalkot, and Belagavi to join hands in support for the bandh on December 27.
