Mulky based entrepreneur gets threat call from the underworld

Mangaluru: According to Police Nagaraj, entrepreneur, a resident of Mulky, whose house bullets were fired by bike-borne assailants two days back, received a call from an underworld criminal who introduced himself as Kali Yogesh.
Two men who arrived by bike at the home of Nagaraj on the night of Saturday fired at his home near Mulky bus stand twice before escaping after sensing that people had begun to gather there after hearing gunshots. Police security has since been provided to Nagaraj’s residence.
On Sunday, December 24 night, Nagaraj received an internet call. The caller introduced himself in Tulu as Kali Yogesh and wanted to confirm that the message he conveyed to the entrepreneur earlier had reached him. It is believed, that this call has confirmed the link of underground criminals with this firing incident. The police said they have been trying to establish the identity of the caller by back trailing the call.
Nagaraj was visibly shaken by the threat call and shootout. Police sources said that Nagaraj has stopped his routine of going for a morning walk with friends at 5 am every day to Bappanadu temple after there incident.
