Bengaluru: IT raids on jewellers

Bengaluru: Another operation by Income tax officials against two Bengaluru based jewellers was conducted on Tuesday morning.
According to the sources, the operations were undertaken on the premises across Bengaluru, Mysuru and Mumbai. Most of the search operations were conducted in the branches of the jewellers and their residences in in Bengaluru.
The searches continued on people with business links with the jewellers. The surveys have spread across premises in Mysuru, Bengaluru and Mumbai. A total of more than 40 surveys have been conducted by the Income Tax officials. The search may continue for another day or two, the sources said.
