CM Siddaramaiah visits families of slain Deepak and Basheer

Mangaluru: CM Siddarmaiah who arrived in the city on Sunday paid visits to the familes of slain Deepak Rao and Basheer from here.

The CM was in the city to inaugurate musical fountain and toy train at Kadri Park here. Prior to that, he chose to visit the two bereaved families.

CM Siddaramaiah first visited Deepak’s residence in Katipalla and directed the deputy commissioner to provide Deepak’s younger brother Satish a job in MRPL.

Later at Basheer’s residence, the CM announced a compensation of Rs 10 lac. Basheer’s son appealed to the CM to take strict action against his father’s killers. 

Ministers U T Khader and Ramanath Rai, and Mayor Kavita Sanil accompanied the CM.
