Five killed, eight injured in an accident at Chitradurga

Chitradurga: Five dead and eight injured after a truck and a cruiser had a head on collision here today.

The deceased have been identified as Siddartha, Rakesh, Shivalingu, Vinod and, Suresh.

The deceased are residents of Munyalu of Gokak taluk, Belgaum district.

According to Police, the five were returning back from their vacation in Mysuru when their vehicle had a head on collison at 7:30 am this morning.

The injured have been admitted to Chitradurga district hospital.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
