Jail inmates clash; police personnel injured

Mangaluru: Two groups fought inside the jail premises here today.

The groups damaged properties in the campus, broke several tube lights and other items.

One of the police personnel was injured in the incident.

Sourced reveal that, when the inmates were on a tea break, a clash erupted and members of two groups started fighting.

The injured have been sent to Wenlock hospital for treatment.
