Puttur: A tanker carrying LPG toppled near here at the Charmadi Ghat on Wednesday evening.
The tanker was plying from Bengaluru to Mangaluru.
As the tanker overturned, gas leaked from it creating a chaos over here.
Vehicle movement was banned on both the sides of the road.
Traffic has been diverted to Bantwal from here.
Fire-tenders and police rushed to the spot and took precautions to prevent any hazard.
