B Janardhan Poojary to release his autobiography on Friday

Mangaluru: B Janardhan Poojary’s autobiography ‘Sala Melada Sangarama’ will be released on January 26.
Speaking to the media he said “I will be releasing my autobiography which contains stories related to my past, which includes my childhood, my upbringing, the poverty we faced, my experience in the field of law, politics and I have also written on Kudroli Gokarnanathashewara Temple and its development after its renovation. The book also contains instance of Indira Gandhi calling me and my journey in politics,”
When asked on his decision to choose this name ‘Sala Melada Sangarama’, for the title he told, “The title was chosen because of the fairs we used to organize to help the weaker sections of the society to get help through loans with low interest,”
“The book contains of my experience with Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Narasimha Rao,”
I encouraged widows to perform pooja in the temple, which was a bold step during then, he added.
Congress leaders Vijay Kumar Shetty, Purushottam Chitrapur, Kudroli temple trustee and BJP member Harikrishna Bantwal and others were present.
