Ilyas murder: Police are on a lookout at Kerala

Mangaluru: Police are on a lookout to nab the accused in relation to target group Ilyas who was brutally murdered at his residence on January 13.

So far no arrests have been made in this case, and the police have now started searching for the culprits in the neighboring state of Kerala.

Ilyas was involved in various cases and had many cases registered against him.

It has been gathered that, Dawood, Ilyas and Safwan who were involved with the Target gang from Ullal had collected about Rs 35 lakh from an entrepreneur in Ullal after they trapped him in a honey trap case. The three got into a dispute sharing the booty and got into a fight.

However it is believed that Dawood had got this murder executed thorugh his accomplice, Samir and others, who it is thought, would be in Kerala now.
