Not 23 ‘Hindu’ deaths, only nine: Ramalinga Reddy clarifies

Bengaluru: Addressing presspersons at the party office here on Wednesday, Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said of the 23 listed by the BJP is false ad that only 9 deaths have been recorded till date.
BJP MP Shobha Karandhlaje on July 28, 2017 had submitted a list of 23 Hindu murders to Union Minister Rajnath Singh and blamed the State government for the murders saying that is id the ineffectiveness of the state government to maintain peace and harmony in the community. She also blamed the jihadi elements for the murder of 23 Hindu who were allied with BJP.
While speaking to the media at the party office on Wednesday, Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy said of the 23 listed by the BJP, 13 were not killed in communal incidents. Ashok Poojary who is listed is still alive and there are only nine deaths caused by communal violence the rest in the list are caused by personal enmity, accident and suicide.
He also said that required actions are taken by the state government to investigate all the cases.
