Dry weather in UP; Agra coldest at 4.8 degrees Celsius

Lucknow: The weather today remained dry in Uttar Pradesh with shallow to moderate fog occurring at many places and dense to very dense fog at a few places in the state. According to the meteorological department, cold wave conditions occurred at isolated places in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

On Thursday, day temperatures rose appreciably in Agra while night temperatures fell in Faizabad, Allahabad and Lucknow. “They were below the normal mark in Faizabad, Lucknow, Allahabad, Moradabad and Agra,” the official said.

The lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded 4.8 degrees Celsius in Agra. Weather will be most likely dry, and shallow to moderate fog is expected at isolated places in the state on January 28, the MeT department predicted.
