Siddaganga Mutt chief seer Shivakumara Swamiji hospitalised

Bengaluru: 110 years old Siddaganga Mutt chief seer Shivakumara Swamiji was admitted to BGS Gleneagles Global Hospitals in Kengeri on Friday after he complained of fever and low blood pressure.
The hospital carried out thorough examinations and Dr Ravindra B.S. (Chief of Medical Gastroenterology) is attending him. He is currently being treated with antibiotics and is under close medical supervision.
A CT scan revealed that Swamiji was suffering from pneumonia and the stents that were previously placed in his liver tube are blocked. Three stents have been placed to manage this problem. He is currently undergoing treatment for pneumonia, kidney failure, and low blood pressure. He was also found to be suffering from jaundice.
After the consideration it was decided to carry out a stent procedure to clear the blockage in the liver tube.
