Bollywood’s trendsetter and all round infectious girl-next-door, Parineeti Chopra needs no introduction. The diva who has always been cool and outspoken about her life and career unveiled the cover of the upcoming issue of Grazia at the United Colors of Benetton store, Bandra. The actress, in a scarlet blouse and cool denim gave 2018 its first dose of an understated preppy vibe.
The February issue gives readers an insight into her life and learnings as a movie star, how her roots and values remain intact, while balancing success and failure. Speaking about her experience of shooting for cover, Parineeti Chopra said, “I didn’t know what am I going to wear for the shoot. When I went for it and got my clothes, I found them very comfortable. I enjoyed every bit of the shoot as I didn’t felt like I am doing some professional shoot. That smooth the entire process was and that is all because of the team. I love my look on the cover of the Grazia magazine.”
Talking about featuring Parineeti, Mehernaaz Dhondy, Editor, Grazia magazine said, “Grazia is all about women, fashion and empowerment. Parineeti Chopra embodies a lot of it in her own way, and that will clearly resonate with the sentiments of our readers. She represents a generation that is equally millennial and grounded, confident about their choices, and willing to take risks that the previous generation would not have considered. And that’s the balance that drives the magazine too.”
Speaking about Parineeti’s look on the cover of the upcoming edition of the magazine, Sundeep Chugh, CEO & MD at Benetton India said, “Benetton has a consolidated identity comprised of color and authentic fashion. Grazia’s cover aptly represents the strong and dynamic personality of our brand through Parineeti’s exuberant persona.”
One of the many interesting excerpts of Parineeti’s interview from the magazine reads, “As an actor, you are expected to paint a larger-than-life image on the screen; it’s always aspirational. I knew I wanted to accomplish that level of fitness and it was far from easy. I’m the laziest person and food is my weakness, so taking a strict sabbatical from my career was a large gamble, but it was totally worth it.”
