T.L. Sundaresh quits Congress, likely to joins JD(S)

Shivamogga: Former Zilla Pachayat member T.L. Sundaresh resigned from the primary membership of Congress.
TL Sundaresh served as member of Shivamogga Zilla Panchayat from Megharavalli constituency, and as president of Tirthahalli Town Panchayat. At present, he is working as president of Konandur block of the Congress. He was a close associate of Kimamne Rathnakar, Tirthahalli MLA.
Speaking to the media, he said that Congress had a suffocating atmosphere. He also said that loyal workers were ignored after the party came into power.
Mr. Sundaresh hinted that he will join JD(S). He said that after the resignation he had a discussion with Madhu Bangarappa, JD(S) leader. He will take a call on joining JD(S) after consulting his supporters in Thirthahalli.
In the mean time, Sundaresh’s house in Seebanakere locality in Tirthahalli was attacked with stones on Monday night. The window panes in the front portion of the house were damaged. Mr. Sundaresh has lodged a complaint with Tirthahalli police station.
