Pay and travel with your pets in KSRTC buses

Bengaluru: Good news for the families with pets. With the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC)’S new luggage policy released last week you can now take your pets along with you while travelling.
The corporation has now directed its crew to treat pets as passengers and allow it to travel by bus by collecting fares.
According to KSRTC official, passengers are often seen complaining that the bus crew often refuse to allow pets in the bus. Now they want to make changes in the travel policy and make the bus services and staffs pet friendly. Henceforth, fare for the pets will be collected along with passenger travelling in KSRTC buses.
The luggage-related circular of the bus services states that passengers will not be allowed to get their pet dogs on board, if they refuse to pay the full fare amount.
