Two women among three killed in accident

Kanpur: Three persons, including two women, were killed when their car rammed into a stationary truck on the National Highway in Billhaur area here today, police said.
Preeti Kapoor (69), her sister-in-law Reeta Kapoor (65), both residents of Kannauj, and driver Raj Kishore (35) died on the spot. They were returning home from Lucknow, a police official said.
“The car driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel resulting in the accident,” SSP Akhilesh Kumar said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, the SSP added.
