Mata Amritanandamayi in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) will be in the city for two days from Tuesday.

Mata will attend the Amrutasangama at Amrita Vidyalaya Grounds in Sulthan Bathery.

Amma will have a public darshan from 11 am to 11 pm at Amrita Vidyalaya Grounds on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Addressing the media here on Friday, Prasadraj Kanchan, president, Mata Amritanandamayi Seva Samithi, said that 25 physically challenged persons would be given free wheelchairs and 64 poor and meritorious will be given scholarships. Pension would be provided to 200 senior citizens. Over 25 women would be given sewing machines for self-employment.
