Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday said that PM Narendra Modi is “an unfit prime minister” and blamed him of making “baseless charges” against the Congress led state government.
Addressing the media, CM Siddaramaiah said, Modi has made baseless allegations against Congress and the ministers here. CM asked, how did Modi question the Congress Government having BS Yeddyurappa, who went to jail, sitting next to him.
It was the previous BJP regime that was a 100% commission government,” said Siddaramaiah.
Siddaramaiah questioned if Modi was able to furnish any valid documents to prove his claim that Congress government takes commission?
CM said, it’s absolutely irresponsible of the prime minister to stoop so low,”
CM said Modi failed to speak on burning issues such as farm loan waiver or the Mahadayi river water sharing dispute. Siddaramaiah said if he was prime minister, he would not have allowed billionaire jeweller Nirav Modi to flee the country after defrauding Rs 11,000 crore from Punjab National Bank.
