Mangaluru: Mangaluru’s renowned solar company Inergeia has installed coastal Karnataka’s first solar wind hybrid system. This is a new technology and produces electricity power 24 hours a day.
Not only does it generate more units of power per kilowatt but some of the disadvantages of renewable energy can be overcome by this hybrid system combining both wind and solar together.
This is a vertical wind turbine that requires less wind to generate the power and by using renewable energy one can reduce the pollution and give a healthier environment.
This new system has been installed in Bawa Fishmeal and Oil Company at Mukka owned by the environment enthusiast Riyaz Bawa.
Currently Inergeia is working on different projects throughout Karnataka.
The directors of the company Aravinda Kumar, Fateh Muhammed and Suraj Kumar Shetty said that they are looking forward to make Karnataka a clean and green energy state.
