Man arrested for raping 22-yr-old

Bengaluru: A 40 year old man was arrested for allegedly raping and cheating a 22 year old Nepali girl after promising her a job in the city. The Banaswadi police arrested the accused from Bhubhaneshwar railway station on Saturday.
The police have arrested Suresh, a native of Nepal and a resident of Banaswadi. He was working as a cashier in a hotel in Bengaluru. The victim had come to the city in search of job. On February 20, she met Suresh who promised to get her a job and took her to the hotel he was working. He allegedly raped her in one of the hotel room after falsely promising to marry her.
The victim soon discovered that Suresh was already married. The victim went and confronted him and the very next day he fled the city. The victim approached the Banaswadi police station and filed a complaint.
The police formed three special teams and went in search of Suresh. They found him travelling in a train from Bhubhaneshwar railway station towards Guwahati. He was arrested within 24 hours.
Banaswadi police have registered a rape and cheating case against Suresh.
