Rock climber Jyothi Raj goes missing at Jog falls

Shivamogga: Famous rock climber from Chitradurga Jyothi Raj has reportedly gone missing on Tuesday when he went down to Jog falls to retrieve the body of a man who committed suicide by jumping into the water falls a few days ago.

Manjunath, a resident of Bengaluru allegedly committed suicide by jumping into Jog waterfalls after writing a death note last week. The family members arrived to jog falls on Tuesday after finding out the death note. To retrieve the body from the falls Jyothi Raj was called and he got into the water on Tuesday morning. But he did not come back even till the evening.

The Jog and Siddapura police tried to communicate with him but were unanswered. The police are still at the spot waiting to get a trace from missing Jyothi Raj.
