Hubballi: BJP members Sudhir Saraf and Menaka have been elected as Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Huballi-Dharwad City Corporation.
Belagavi regional commissioner P A Meghannavara, who was the returning officer for mayoral election said that the elections were held on Saturday and 41 votes were casted in favour of the BJP candidates and 23 voted against.
Lok Sabha member Pralhad Joshi, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Jagadish Shettar and others were also present during the election.
