Women are marrying trees for a cause

Mexico: Ladies in Oaxaca, Mexico had a wedding recently that was quiet bizarre. All the groom at the wedding were trees. The blushing brides are on the whole activists.

The mass marriage was intended to attract consideration regarding illegal logging, a difficult issue in Mexico, where 33% of the land territory is secured by timberland.

Tree bride Dolores Leycigi said the service was a genuine statement and step for the planet’s future.

Speaking to the media, the tree bride said “Wedding a tree is a method for challenging, to state that we have to quit eliminating Mother Earth each day, consistently, consistently,”

The tree weddings aren’t legitimately official, yet another tree bride Andrea Tanat said getting hitched with a tree still requires a genuine commitment.

“I thought it was exceptionally fascinating that we have a dedication, with this tree, as well as with all of nature,” she says. “I thought about how much we have harmed nature, so I chose to come and get hitched.”
