Mysuru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that national-level secular parties must unite together to defeat ‘communal BJP’.

Speaking to reporters at the Mysuru airport on Monday, Siddaramaiah said that the results of north-east Indian state elections will have no impact on the upcoming polls in Karnataka.

He communicated certainty that voters in Karnataka won’t vote in favour of BJP ‘which is partitioning society in the name of caste and religion’. The BSP-JD(S) pre-survey settlement isn’t an issue for the Congress. It will have no effect during the elections. “Our single point is to crush BJP,” Siddaramaiah added.

He informed the media persons that he intended to go to Delhi on Tuesday in background of the Rajya Sabha elections, where the applicants will be chosen. “The Congress needn’t bother with the JD(S)’s help for this election,” he said.

Siddaramaiah additionally included that AICC President Rahul Gandhi will visit the Mysuru area and take an interest in crusades from March 21-25. A massive convention of the party will be held in Mysuru on March 25.

The Chief Minister uncovered that industrialist and Bidar MLA Ashok Kheny will join Congress on Monday and none inside the party has protested his entrance into the party. “I won’t react to guesses,” he cleared up.
