Bengaluru soon to get its own Version of Times Square Called Bengaluru Square

Bengaluru: One of the busiest and most crowded places on the planet, New York’s Times Square is a noteworthy business convergence which serves as a traveller goal. Additionally an entertainment focus and neighbourhood, it is situated in the Midtown Manhattan segment of New York City at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue.
Presently, in a driven arrangement, Bengaluru may get its own version of Times Square known as ‘Bengaluru Square’. Mayor R Sampath Raj said this patch up was to change the road into a “world-class visitor goal”. The milestone may jump up at the crossing point of Residency Road and Brigade Road.
“We need the city to have a Bengaluru Square like Times Square. We are arranging it at the entrance of Brigade Road. Bengaluru is quickly turning into a global city, and there ought to be a celebration for that. We have asked Swati Ramanathan, the master mind behind TenderSURE, to start working on detailed report,” the leader said.
According to the reports, BBMP authorities have broad intends to transform the Brigade street intersection into a world-class tourist destination.
