Congress men face leader’s rage

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) office-bearers got an earful from AICC general secretary in charge for Karnataka K C Venugopal on Friday for showing inefficiency, particularly when the BJP is completing statewide, high-decibel election campaigns.

Outfitted with execution reports, Venugopal complained that the office bearers had neglected to complete the assigned tasks in every Assembly constituency. To counter the BJP’s Bengaluru Rakshisi padayatra, the Congress has chosen to dispatch a ‘Namma Bengaluru, Namma Hemme’ crusade, whose subtle elements are being worked out.
