Parameshwar and I are like brothers: CM Siddaramaiah

Tumkur: Putting aside individual contrasts, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and KPCC President Dr G Parameshwara set up a unified front at the Janashirvada Yathre rally held at Koratagere, Tumakuru district, on Sunday.

Addressing the Congress party worker’s rally, Siddaramaiah focused on that Parameshwara must win the surveys. “On the off chance that Parameshwara wins, it is in the same class as AICC President Rahul Gandhi winning; and if Rahul Gandhi wins; it is a triumph for me,” the CM said.

“Parameshwara must not lose at any cost. He served the party as its state president for a long time. He and I are like brothers. We have no distinctions of sentiment by any stretch of the imagination. Those are gossipy tidbits spread by individuals who need to sully the party’s image,” Siddaramaiah said.

The Chief Minister again focused on that the KPCC leader and himself had no distinctions in picking possibility for the elections.

“Congress returning to control is as valid as the Sun rising tomorrow morning,” Siddaramaiah guaranteed.
