Accused stabs police officers at Vijaypura

Vijayapura: A police constable and an officer were attacked by a man when the two went to arrest him in connection with a case registered against him here.

It has been reported that, when the police officer went to the man’s house to arrest him, he stabbed at the police.

The accused has been identified as Yunus Patel.

When Yunus tried to flee from the spot, Sub-inspector Arif shot at his leg.

The two police officers and the accused have been under treatment at a local hospital here.
