‘Mittabail Yamunakka’ book launch at Kuwait

Mangaluru: Mittabail Yamunakka, a tale of a landlord’s household is an English translation of a tulu novel of Dr. D.K.Chowta.

The book will be published at Mishref Garden, Kuwait on Tulu koota family picnic day.

The book release program is organized by Tulu koota Kuwait in association with Bharatiya Pravasi Parishat Kuwait, G.S.B Sabha Kuwait,  Buntara Sangh Kuwait, and Kuwait based Sahitya Sampada.

The translation work has been accomplished by Prof.B.Surendra Rao and Prof.K.Chinnappa Gowda.

Prof. Rao retired as history professor from Mangalore University, and Prof. Gowda was formerly a professor of Kannada in Mangalore University and also Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka Folklore University, Haveri.
