Udupi: Former MLA U R Sabhapathi said that fake rumours have been spread via WhatsApp of him having made allegations of corruption against Pramod Madhwaraj.

Sabhapathi further said that he has filed a complaint against this act at the cyber cell of the district.

Sabhapathi applauded Madhwaraj’s developmental activities in the district and said that some people are trying to play foul in this regard.

He also said that he is happy with Madhwaraj as next MLA candidate and he made way for Madhwaraj in the last elections, even though he was allotted B form.

Sabhapathi blamed opposition parties for spreading wrong news through social media platforms.
