Bus collision, eight injured

Chikkaballapura: Eight passengers were severely injured as a result of collision between two buses on Gauribidanur road on Friday.
The accident took place when a private bus which was heading towards Tirupathi from Gauribidanur rammed into a KSRTC bus which was going towards Kolar from Chikkaballapur.
The reason for the accident is said o be the negligence of the private bus driver as he failed to negotiate a curve and rammed the KSRTC bus.
Three passengers in KSRTC bus and five passengers in the private bus have sustained injuries. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital.
A case has been registered at the Chikkaballapur station.
