Youth hacked to death by a friend

Bengaluru: A youth was hacked to death by a friend over a petty quarrel in Commercial Street on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Anil (24), a resident of Bharathinagar. He was a painter by profession. The accused Shivkumar (36), a resident of Sheshadripuram has been arrested.
The incident took place at around 10 am near Gurumurthy wine store on Narayana Pillai Street, when Anil was having a drink. Shivkumar asked Anil to pay for his drink but Anil refused to do so. Shivkumar started a fight but Anil ignored him and walked out of the bar after finishing his drink. Angry Shivakumar followed Anil and attacked him. He crushed Anil’s head with a boulder and sled the spot.
The victim was declared brought dead by the Bowring Hospital doctors. A case has been registered.
