Mother and daughter end lives together

Bengaluru: A 61-year-old lady committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her home in North Bengaluru’s Rajajinagar after being upset about nor finding a groom for her daughter. Her daughter also committed suicide in a same manner in a short while.
The deceased have been identified as Savithramma and her 37 year old daughter Devaki. SAavithramma’s husband had passed away 10 years ago. They were living in their own house in Prakash Nagar, Rajajinagar, and had leased four shops. Savithramma’s son Raju was living separately with his wife in Kengeri. He was detached from his mother after a property clash.
The incident is said to have taken place on Friday but came to light on Monday. One of the their tenants sensed a foul smell coming out of the house and immediately informed the police.
The neighbors had spoken to Savithramma and Devaki on Friday. Police suspect that they ended their lives in a suicide agreement quickly a short time later.
Since both were confined from Raju and different relatives, no one wanted to reach them in three days. On Monday, one of their tenant, a retailer, developed suspicious in the wake of detecting a foul scent. He alarmed the police and additionally Raju.
Police went to the house and broke open the door and discovered them hanging.
Their bodies were moved to the Victoria Hospital for the after death. The duo didn’t leave any suicide note. Police said they were investigating the motive for the suicide.
