Amit Shah holds meeting with 31 seers

Shivamogga: A secret meeting with seers of 31 mutts in the region at Bekkinakalmutt in the city on Monday evening by the BJP president Amit Shah. 

According to the sources the delegation of seers led by Bekkinakalmutt seer Mallikarjuna Murugharajendra exhibited a list of demands to the BJP president. They were said to have disclosed to Shah that they had been supporting the BJP for many years and they would proceed with the same in the coming years. The diviners said the BJP government in the past had given funds to the mutts and it must be done even in future if the party comes back to control. 

The issues identified with waterway connecting venture and farmer’s troubles were likewise talked about. Raghaveshwara Bharati of Ramachandrapura Mutt and Rachoteshwara of Bilaki Mutt were also present at the close-door meeting. 

State BJP president BS Yeddyurappa, K S Eshwarappa, S Rudregowda, Union Minister Ananth Kumar, MP Prahlad Joshi, national general secretary Muralidhar Rao and others were also present.
