Devegowda clarifies that Prajwal will not defy HDK

Bengaluru: JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda on Monday said that his grandson Prajwal Revanna would at no time challenge his uncle and JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy and his decisions.
Speaking to the media persons here on Monday, Deve Gowda said that Prajwal had given a “fitting” answer to the oppositions by expressing that he would give his uncle a chance to choose his political future.
Deve Gowda made the statement in response to the comments made by former Chamarajpet MLA B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan who recently said that Kumaraswamy was debilitated by his nephew’s political development, and was henceforth denying him the ticket to challenge from Rajarajeshwarinagar. Khan had likewise welcomed Prajwal to join the Congress.
“Ironicly the ones who deceived the party have abruptly built up a love towards Prajwal. In any case, Prajwal has made it clear that no one can part the Deve Gowda family. He has additionally said that his uncle would accept an approach the Rajarajeshwarinagar candidature – and that he will walk by his uncle’s decision,” he included.
