Man dies after being attacked by robbers in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A 25-year-old man breathed his last on Wednesday after he was brutally assaulted by the thieves who robbed him on Tuesday morning in North Bengaluru’s Rajajinagar.
The deceased has been identified as Vijay, a native of West Bengal. He was waslking out of the Rajajinagar railway underbridge close to Khoday’s Circle when a pack of thieves waylaid him. Wielding a dagger, the looters demanded that he gives away the valuables. When he declined to give in, the gang stabbed him in the stomach. The thieves at that point took away his cell phone and other valuables and fled the spot.
The injured Vijay continued shouting for help until a group of night patrolmen spotted him. The policemen called an ambulance and took Vijay to the Victoria Hospital where he succumbed to the injuries on Wednesday, police included.
The Cottonpet police have enrolled a case of murder and theft and are chasing for the assailants.
