Bengaluru: Central Karnataka, the part of the state with seven districts is good to go to witness an intriguing battle between major political parties, with the BJP and the JD(S) trying all endeavors to end the Congress’ rule over the district.
The Congress had a high ground over the 44 Assembly constituencies, spread crosswise over Davangere, Chitradurga, Tumakuru, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Ramanagaram and Bengaluru Rural areas. Congress is presently pondering a hostile to incumbency factor and infighting in a considerable lot of these districts.
The Congress is investigating every possibility way to maintain its hold over the district. The party intends to conquer the counter incumbency feeling by presenting crisp countenances where its sitting MLAs have a poor picture.
The party trusts that the ‘Bhagya’ plans, primarily implied for the backward classes, SCs and STs, who are said to be in sizable number in the locale, will work to support its favour in the upcoming elections. The Opposition parties, particularly the BJP, is working additional time to take advantage of the Congress’ shortcoming. Be that as it may, the BJP’s essence is, all around, restricted to Davangere, Chitradugra, Tumakuru and a few pockets of the other four locale. The gathering has not possessed the capacity to win a solitary seat in Chikkaballapur as far back as its arrangement there in 2007.
One of the fundamental explanations behind the BJP’s poor execution in 2013 was that the KJP drove by former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa figured out how to eat into the saffron party’s help base. Both the Congress and the JD(S) received its reward. Presently, with Yeddyurappa back in the BJP, the gathering would like to recover its quality in the locale.
The BJP is running a supported battle in Davangere, Chitradurga and Tumakuru with its star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and gathering president Amit Shah tending to revives in these areas. It is said that the gathering is intending to field its ST leader B Sriramulu from Molakalmuru Constituency in Chitradurga so as to merge the ST votes.
In spite of the fact that the BJP does not have a solid base in Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagaram and Bengaluru Rural locale, the party is trusting that some of its senior leaders from these regions B N Bache Gowda (Hoskote), S N Krishnaiah Setty (Malur), and C P Yogeeshwara (Channapatna) would help win a few seats for the party.
The JD(S), which had set up a great execution in 2013 in Tumakuru winning upwards of six of 11 seats, including Koratagere, where KPCC president G Parameshwara was vanquished, gives off an impression of being giving an intense battle to the two national gatherings. The gathering has officially reported contender for a large portion of the seats in these areas.
Drinking water shortage is a noteworthy issue in the district. With the decision party neglecting to stay faithful to its obligation on the Yettinahole venture, which is intended to supply drinking water to Tumakuru, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Ramanagaram and Bengaluru Rural locale, and coconut, acrecanut and sericulture agriculturists seeing red at the legislature for not going to their guide, the BJP and the JD(S), have been raking up these issues for discretionary additions.
