Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Corporation Councillor, Prathibha Kulai said that she will file a defamation case against BJP for allegedly misusing her photograph in the chargesheet filed against Congress.
Addressing a press meet here, Kulai said that she will be filing a defamation case against Union Minister, Ravi Shankar, former CM, BS Yeddyurappa and MP Shobha Karandalje in civil court for misusing her image.
The BJP had released the ‘chargesheet’ on Sunday against the Congress led government over various issues which included failure in law & order, atrocities against Dalits and women, farmers’ suicide and drug mafia.
When Kulai was asked if the BJP leaders apologized to her, she said, “No, they have not apologised. It is not in their nature to apologise for their mistakes. If they mistakenly used my image, then I can only urge people not to vote for such an irresponsible party which cannot even manage to print an error-free book. If this is their condition, how can they lead the state?”
Prathibha Kulai had earlier filed a complaint with the city police commissioner on the same matter.
