Rain brings down the heat in NK districts

Bengaluru: A few parts of Karnataka, especially those in the north, got light to direct rain on Thursday. 
Rain along with hailstorm lashed Chincholi in Kalaburagi region on Thursday night. Power supply in a few sections of the town was effected. Chincholi had been recording most extreme temperature of around 40 degrees Celsius for as far back as one week and Thursday’s showers had a cooling impact.

Rain lashed Hubballi city for around 30 minutes at night bringing rest from scotching sun. The sudden rain got individuals unprepared and people on foot, motorcyclists kept running for cover as the skies opened up. 

It showered in parts of Belagavi city for around 10 to 15 minutes. Sky stayed cloudy in Belagavi. Gadag town, Gajendragad and Mundgod in Uttara Kannada area additionally got showers in night.
