Chargesheet filed against 11 youth in Basheer murder case

Mangaluru: City police filed a chargesheet against 11 youth in connection with Abdul Basheer murder case.

Third JMFC termed 11 persons as accused in this case.

The accused have been identified as Kishan Poojary and Dhanush Poojary from Padil; Srijith from Uppala; Sandesh from Manjeshwara; Pushparaj from Kasargod; Lathesh from Mogral; Mithun, Tilakraj and Raju under trials in Mangaluru prison and two more Anup and Abhishek who showed Basheer to the miscreants.

Investigative officer, CCRB ACP Valentine D’Souza finalized the list.

Abdul Basheer was hacked to death on January 3 2018.
